KNOWLEDGE PARTNERS

Who can be a Knowledge Partner?

Non-government entities can join the G20 Bali GBFA as Knowledge Partners. Knowledge Partner is any international, nongovernmental and philanthropic organizations and foundations including private entity that have deep expertise, diverse experience and complementary skills which share the similar objectives of the G20 Bali GBFA and are interested in furthering its purposes by advising, supporting, and facilitating the activities of the G20 Bali GBFA country members.

The participation of international and non-government organizations, philanthropic entities, foundations and private sector in the G20 Bali GBFA is important as the tripartite partnership of public-philanthropic-private sector is essential in financing the SDGs and climate transition projects, and foundational for the effectiveness of the G20 Bali GBFA operations. To that end, the GBFA will partner with other international organizations, multilateral development banks, development finance institutions as well as the philanthropic community and private investors to promote structures that incentivize private finance and investment.
