The G20 Bali Global Blended Finance Alliance represents a groundbreaking initiative for the global community to support the acceleration of investment for the developing countries, the Archipelagic States, and to enhance South-South cooperation. By partnering with the G20 Bali GBFA, stakeholders will contribute to global change by accelerating and scaling up financing for climate actions and the SDGs.

Country members and long-term partnerships are key to the G20 Bali GBFA’s initiatives to scale blended finance transactions for climate actions and the SDGs at country-level for the Global South. The G20 Bali GBFA partners with governments, private sectors, and civil society to create synergies and complementarity in the development of innovative fit-for-purpose solutions, sharing of knowledge and country lessons to advance the inclusive and sustainable growth agenda for the developing countries.

The G20 Bali GBFA Member benefits include:

1. Support in the design of country-led and owned platform for developing countries to facilitate pipeline creation of bankable projects, access to catalytic capital and find opportunities for South-South collaboration,
   
   
2. Access to policy support and development of blended finance framework premised on G20 “Principles to Scale Up Blended Finance”, which include standardized tools, guidelines for finance pipelines and databases.
   
   
3. Access to capacity building, knowledge sharing, building best practices for scaling up blended finance transactions in the developing countries and identifying good practices and replicable solutions.
   
   
4. Access to network and connections between government bodies, philanthropic organizations, development agencies and private investors to facilitate partnerships aimed at financing and implementing activities for high-impact SDGs and climate projects.

The G20 Bali GBFA Member benefits include:

Under the terms of the Headquarters Agreement between the G20 Bali GBFA and the Member State in which it is headquartered, the G20 Bali GBFA shall enjoy privileges and immunities from every form of legal process, its assets shall be immune from all forms of seizure, expropriation, search, confiscation, or any form of taking, attachment or execution before the delivery of final judgment against the G20 Bali GBFA, and the G20 Bali GBFA may seek such privileges and immunities in the jurisdiction of other Members, as may be necessary and appropriate for the proper functioning of the G20 Bali GBFA in the territory of Member States, in due consideration of such privileges and immunities as are customarily accorded to similar international organizations. Such privileges and immunities shall be specified in a separate agreement that may be concluded among the Member States or between the G20 Bali GBFA and the individual Member State.
